What does the future of digital services look like when humans and artificial intelligence work together? Last Friday, the German Forum for Service Research (DF²) addressed this highly topical question. Our research associate, Nick Große, represented the Chair of Business Logistics (LFO) at the event, which took place at Deutsche Telekom’s offices in Bonn.

Under the theme “Growth. Change. Values,” the event provided an ideal platform for dialogue between academia and industry. In addition to engaging keynote speeches by Gereon Hammel (Deutsche Telekom) and Frederike Del Castillo (OTTO), the event focused primarily on the eponymous topic of “Agentic Co-Creation.”

In an interactive co-creation format, this concept was put directly into practice: human participants and AI agents worked together as a team to develop entirely new ideas for the service innovations of tomorrow. For the LFO team, this innovative format provided valuable insights and new perspectives that will now be directly incorporated into their own research and practice.

Our participation in DF² took place as part of our Smart-DLWD (Smart Service and Knowledge Hub) research project, in which we continuously conduct research at the intersection of logistics, digitalization, and intelligent services.

EU Funding Note: The Smart-DLWD project is funded by the European Union.
