The starting signal for an exciting summer at the Chair of Business Logistics (LFO) at TU Dortmund University has been given! As of today, we are pleased to welcome two guest students from North America who are enriching our day-to-day research as part of the DAAD RISE program.

In the coming weeks, both of them will be working with us on forward-looking projects:

Juan Pablo Garza (University of British Columbia, Canada) is studying Applied Science & Commerce and will be assisting our colleague Patrick Stuckmann in the area of risk forecasting and supply chain simulations.

Prema Maringanti (Lehigh University, USA) is studying Industrial & Systems Engineering and will support our senior engineer Natalia Straub in the strategic development of space competencies at the chair.

The DAAD RISE program promotes the exchange between outstanding students worldwide and the German research landscape. We are very much looking forward to the new impulses that Juan Pablo and Prema will bring with them and to our time together in Dortmund!

Welcome to the team!
