Guest Lecture by Kostal: Insights into the Resilient Factory Operations of the Future

On June 3, we welcomed Mr. Markus Böing from Kostal Automobil Elektrik to our department as part of the course “Factory Planning and Operations.”

In his practical presentation, Mr. Böing provided students with valuable insights into current and innovative trends in the industry. The focus was on decarbonization, sustainability, and energy efficiency, as well as advancing automation and the use of robotics. Through integrated live polls, the students were actively engaged and were able to participate directly in the discussion about the future challenges of factory planning.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Mr. Böing for this inspiring presentation. He impressively demonstrated how important resilient factory operations are in times of global change.
