On March 5, another consortium meeting of the FlexTools project took place at the Fraunhofer IML in Dortmund. The meeting focused on the structured coordination of the last open points and the joint development of a clear roadmap for the successful completion of the project.

Central work packages were consolidated, dependencies between the project results were clarified and concrete next steps were defined in an intensive exchange. The aim was to bundle the remaining activities in a targeted manner and efficiently drive forward the implementation of the final project results.

A particular highlight was the live demonstration of the EvoBot, which was presented in the context of the FlexTools use case. The demonstration clearly illustrated the potential of the developed solutions for practical use in intralogistics. The next step is to test the EvoBot in a real application context at TE Connectivity. This will be another important milestone in validating the practical suitability of the approaches developed in the project.

We would like to thank all partners for the constructive exchange and look forward to the next steps in the FlexTools project.
