Advancing digitalization is rapidly changing the skills requirements in procurement. The European research project EXPERTISE has developed an innovative and free skill measurement tool to provide specialists with optimal support during this transformation.

With this digital tool, buyers can assess their individual skills in a structured way - based on 107 specific competencies from seven key subject areas.

The key added values of the tool:

  • Integrated benchmark function: compare your own profile with the data of around 1,100 European specialists. The result is visualized in a clear and easy-to-understand radar chart.
  • Transparent potential analysis: Uncover individual strengths and specific skills gaps objectively. A special focus is placed on dealing with modern Industry 4.0 technologies.
  • Tailor-made further training: Based on the analysis, the tool directly suggests individual learning paths and suitable training materials. This allows identified subject areas to be closed in a targeted manner.

The measurement tool provides companies and individual purchasers with a valuable, data-based foundation. It promotes effective lifelong learning and helps to ensure long-term competitiveness in a dynamic market environment.
