On February 24 and 25, the next EXPERTISE project meeting took place at TU Dortmund University, where researchers from the University of Twente, the Lappeenranta-Lahti University of Technology LUT and the University of Economics in Bratislava visited.

The technical platform and the skills assessment tool for silver workers in purchasing and supply management (employees over 50) were discussed in detail in order to adapt them specifically to the changing skills requirements of purchasers as a result of Industry 4.0. In addition, the curriculum of the learning materials was discussed, which will consist of four overarching units:

  1. Introduction and lifelong learning in Purchasing and Supply Management (PSM)
  2. Digitalization in PSM systems and processes in the age of Industry 4.0
  3. Data analytics & management in PSM
  4. Future strategic goals and trends in PSM

In addition, the following case studies were prepared for the evaluation and dissemination of the project results.
